What is LoopIQ?
LoopIQ is an anonymous compatibility-matching app for golfers. It pairs you with players you are likely to enjoy a round with — based on handicap, pace, course preferences, availability, and the vibe you like to play — and helps you coordinate a tee time together. There are no public profiles, no photos, and no chat.
How do I create an account?
Download LoopIQ and sign in with Apple, Google, or your phone number (we will text you a one-time code). You then complete a short onboarding to set your golf profile and availability. You must be 18 or older to use LoopIQ.
Do I need a verified handicap?
No. If you have a USGA/GHIN handicap you can link it for more accurate matching. If you do not, you can enter a self-declared range and still get matched.

How pairing and tee times work.
How does matching work?
LoopIQ computes a compatibility score between you and other nearby players and surfaces a short, ranked list of your best matches. You see an anonymous card for each — handicap, pace, shared courses, distance, and a compatibility score — never names or photos. Tap Invite on players you would like to join; when interest is mutual, the round is confirmed.
When are names revealed?
To protect your privacy, real names and contact options are revealed only in a window 1–2 hours before tee time, and only after both players have confirmed the round.
How do ratings work?
After a round, you rate the experience — not anyone’s golf score. Ratings are private and never shown to the person being rated. Pairings that went well get boosted in future matching; ones that did not quietly drop off.
What if a tee time falls through?
If a hold or booking cannot be completed, LoopIQ will notify you and help you re-match. You will always be told clearly when something changes with a round.

Is my information private?
Yes. LoopIQ is anonymous by default — other users never see your name, photos, or social handles. Identity is only revealed at the pre-tee-time reveal moment described above. See our Privacy Policy for full detail on what we collect and why.
How do I delete my account?
You can request deletion in the app under Settings, or email support@loopiq.com from your account's email or phone number. Deleting your account removes your profile and match history in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
How much does LoopIQ cost?
LoopIQ is free to use. We may introduce optional paid features in the future; if we do, you will be told clearly before anything is charged.
