Terms of Service

Effective date: September 16, 2026 · Last updated: September 16, 2026

These Terms govern your use of LoopIQ, which helps golfers find compatible playing partners and coordinate rounds. They explain what you can expect from us, what we expect from you, and the limits of our responsibility. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy. LoopIQ is intended only for individuals 18 years of age or older.

1. Acceptance of these Terms

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and Heyrock Holdings, which operates LoopIQ (“LoopIQ,” “we,” “us”). They govern your use of the LoopIQ mobile app, website, and related services (the “Service”).

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be 18 years of age or older to use LoopIQ. By using the Service you represent that you are 18 or older and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

You may not use the Service if we have previously removed your account for a violation of these Terms.

3. Your account

  • You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, including your handicap or self-reported skill level. Other players rely on it.
  • You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account and for keeping your sign-in method secure.
  • One person, one account. Do not create an account on behalf of anyone else, and do not share your account.
  • Tell us promptly at the support address below if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

4. What LoopIQ does — and does not do

LoopIQ helps golfers find compatible playing partners and coordinate rounds. We introduce players to each other and help arrange a time and course.

We do not

  • Verify the identity, background, character, handicap, or conduct of any user. You alone decide whether to play a round with someone.
  • Own, operate, or control any golf course, and we do not guarantee that a course will honor a tee time.
  • Guarantee that a round will fill, that a match will be found, or that any other player will show up.
  • Supervise rounds or act as a party to any arrangement you make with another player or with a course.

Meeting other people

LoopIQ introduces you to people you have not met. Use ordinary judgment:

  • Meet at the course, in public, during posted hours.
  • Tell someone you trust where you will be.
  • Stop and leave if a situation feels unsafe, and report it to us afterward.

5. Tee times, cancellations, and no-shows

  • A confirmed round is a commitment to the other players in that group. Cancel as early as you can if plans change.
  • Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may result in reduced visibility in matching, or removal from the Service.
  • Green fees, cart fees, and any other charges are between you and the golf course. Unless we state otherwise at the time of booking, LoopIQ does not collect them and is not responsible for refunds.
  • Course rules, dress codes, pace-of-play policies, and cancellation policies are set by the course and apply to you directly.

6. Connected third-party services

You may choose to connect third-party accounts to LoopIQ — for example a Google, Microsoft, or Apple calendar, a sign-in provider, or a professional profile. Connecting is always optional and you can disconnect at any time from your profile settings.

Calendar connections

  • When you connect a calendar, LoopIQ only reads and stores free/busy intervals — the start and end times when you are busy. Depending on the provider, the permission we request may be broader than free/busy data alone, but we do not read, receive, or store event titles, descriptions, locations, attendees, or any other event content regardless of what access a provider grants.
  • Busy times are used to show your existing commitments on your LoopIQ calendar and to warn you before you book a round that overlaps one. They are visible only to you.
  • Calendar data is synced periodically rather than instantly, so it may be out of date. A conflict warning is a convenience, not a guarantee — you remain responsible for your own schedule.
  • LoopIQ also writes your confirmed rounds into a calendar it creates for you, named “LoopIQ Tee Times”, and keeps those entries up to date if a round is rescheduled or cancelled. We only ever create, change, or delete entries in that calendar — never in any calendar you already had. Each entry carries the course, the tee time, and how many seats are filled; it never names the other golfers.
  • Disconnecting a calendar stops future syncing and removes the busy times we hold for it. Rounds already added to your calendar are yours to keep — we do not remove the LoopIQ Tee Times calendar or the entries in it; you can delete them yourself at any time.

Generally

  • Your use of a third-party service is governed by that provider’s own terms and privacy policy, not these Terms.
  • We are not responsible for a third-party service being unavailable, changing its behavior, or revoking access.

7. Acceptable use

When using LoopIQ, you agree not to:

  • Harass, threaten, demean, or discriminate against another user, on or off the course.
  • Misrepresent who you are, including your name, age, photos, or skill level.
  • Use the Service to solicit, advertise, recruit, or sell, including promoting a competing service.
  • Collect, scrape, or store other users’ information, or attempt to identify a user outside the Service.
  • Share another user’s contact details, photos, or messages without their permission.
  • Interfere with the Service — probing, overloading, reverse engineering, or circumventing any access control or rate limit.
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of a course’s rules.

8. Content you provide

  • You keep ownership of the photos, text, and other content you submit.
  • You grant LoopIQ a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, and display that content solely to operate and improve the Service.
  • You are responsible for having the rights to what you upload, and for it not being unlawful or infringing.
  • We may remove content that violates these Terms, and may suspend or remove accounts that repeatedly do so.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, that matches or busy-time information will be accurate or current, or that defects will be corrected.

Golf involves physical activity and inherent risk. You participate at your own risk.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LoopIQ and Heyrock Holdings will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunity, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred United States dollars (US$100).

We are not liable for the conduct of any user, any golf course, or any third party, whether online or in person.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LoopIQ, Heyrock Holdings, and their officers, employees, and agents from any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your content, your interactions with other users or courses, or your breach of these Terms.

12. Suspension and termination

  • You may stop using LoopIQ and delete your account at any time from within the app.
  • We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if your conduct puts other users at risk, or if we are required to by law.
  • Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including Sections 8 through 11 — will survive.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. If we make a material change, we will update the effective date above and give reasonable notice in the app or by email before it takes effect.

Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

You and LoopIQ agree to first try in good faith to resolve any dispute informally by contacting us at the address below. Any dispute not resolved informally will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Michigan, and you and LoopIQ consent to their jurisdiction.
